about
Chuck Patchen is a husband, father, grandfather, teacher, and pastor. He has been passionately pursing the Lord's "Kingdom to come and His will to be done," through a multitude of ministries since his youth. Most recently Chuck has helped in the founding of "The Colorado House of Prayer," seeking to bring about God's mandate through increased and unified prayer and worship in Northern Colorado.

the back story
As a pastor’s kid, Chuck grew up serving his local church as a weekend janitor, parking attendant, lawn-mower, Sunday school teacher and youth worker. This formed in him a great love for the family of God- the local church, and for the lost. Chuck witnessed the outpourings of the Holy Spirit in his church during the late 1960s, early 70s and early 80s, which impacted the whole Northern Colorado region. During this time he became aware of God’s strategy to bring His Kingdom and will to the earth through partnership with believers, who, understanding their identity as kings and priests, joyfully gave themselves to a Spirit-led life of individual and corporate prayer, worship, fasting, and ministry to the Lord. Chuck saw first-hand the impact of the prayer movement in Seoul South Korea, Austria and Uganda during short-term mission trips. He also studied at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City for four years and was part of the corporate worship and prayer furnace which fueled the 2010 outpouring. A hunger for revival and reformation for every sphere of human society was ignited in him as he continually experienced God moving in mighty signs and wonders in response to prayer, and as he studied revival history and grounded himself in the Word. Through God’s leading in 2010, Chuck, his wife Susan and their four children moved back to Fort Collins to contend with like-minded people for the fullness of God’s plan for Northern Colorado: for the fullness of redemption and restoration of the local land and people, for the fullness of Israel and their land, and for the God ordained destiny of every people-group. Beginning in 2010, Chuck ministered at the Lake Street Prayer House, a Red Moon Rising model, which ended in 2012. He then served as the associate pastor of Drake Road Christian Church from 2012 to 2019. He currently attends and serves at Antioch Community Church; he leads a teaching and prayer ministry and participates weekly in various prayer groups throughout the region. He has been with The Colorado House of Prayer from its inception.
